Profile studies

Biography

Aura Twarowska has dedicated herself to music since she was six years old, studying piano, mandoline and canto. After high school graduation (Coriolan Brediceanu High School) she studied Economy (Faculty of Economics, Timisoara) but she has not lost touch with music, being a choir member at Banatul Philarmonic of Timisoara. Once the Faculty of Music was founded in Timisoara she continued studying music there and afterwards she graduated a master study at The National University of Music from Bucharest, Romania. She studied opera with Georgeta Stoleriu during those years. Since 2010, Aura Twarowska is Doctor of Music. She debuted in 1998 with The Romanian National Opera Timisoara as Carmen in G. Bizet’s Carmen. After many successes in Romania and abroad, since 2007 she sings at the Vienna State Opera.
